Stuff Portrait Friday – Numbers

SPF is back…

Sorry if this is not a great shot (played around with a DSLR for the first time ever – it was way too hard for me).

Kristine asked us to post a picture with numbers…

This is the switch to my heating in the new house. Kinda dirty after 25 years of use. This switch is very important as I am ALWAYS cold. I would be lost without being able to turn the heating to maximum when I am freezing again. :)

  • which DSlR did you get??? :)

  • yes, which one did you get?
need input and reviews as i might get one myself soon :D

  • i would die without heating systems, too. yes, let us know which dslr you got.

  • i like the shot – which camera did you get?

  • Didn’t get one yet, borrowed the Pentax 100d from a friend. Unfortunately, I did not like it at all. Felt like a total loser after not being able to use it for at least one decent shot… but maybe I did not try enough.
I am undecided between the Canon 400d (Rebel xti), the Nikon 40d (as recommended by Kristine) double zoom kit and the Olympus e510 double zoom kit.
H says I probably will be undecided I finally buy it (after my tax return is there). Canon I like coz it’s a realy good brand. Kristine said, the Nikon is great for a beginner and the Olympus has live view and IS… help me out!

  • The D300 has live view…but it’s also around 2000.00 :) I just found out that little fact the other day while reading this CRAZY thing they add with the camera..it’s called a…MANUAL. who knew!? lol.

Go with the Nikon….;) hee hee.

  • i love the olympus. its so easy to understand and even takes pictures in auto that are awesome! either way, everyone prefers something, just go with what you think would work the best for you! :) i am sure they are all great cameras!

  • That switch looks really cool. Haha! :)
